{"id":685,"date":"2011-08-05T16:03:00","date_gmt":"2011-08-05T16:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crabkey.co.uk\/?p=685"},"modified":"2011-08-05T16:03:00","modified_gmt":"2011-08-05T16:03:00","slug":"leeds-to-devon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crabkey.co.uk\/?p=685","title":{"rendered":"Leeds to Devon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not a problem journey-wise, and stopped off on Thursday night at a splendid B&amp;B in the A45 near Rugby called Home Farm (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.homefarma45.co.uk\">http:\/\/www.homefarma45.co.uk<\/a>). It is run by a very friendly couple, Diane and Harry and their prize-winning dogs! A very comfortable night, and superb freshly cooked full English breakfast helped us to continue with the long journey to Devon on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>We stopped a couple of times before arriving in Devon. The journey was pretty good, and only go a bit slow when arriving at Torquay. We made our way to Galmpton which is the village next to Greenway. Here we found a cracking local butcher and shop to stock up for the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>We then went to Greenway, dropping our things off in the Lodge, before heading down to the house for a wander in the garden and our first Devon cream tea, which I don\u2019t think we\u2019ll beat all week!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re going to look around the house later this week, and partake of a cooked lunch in Agatha\u2019s kitchen in the house \u2013 a bit of a treat!!
