Another relaxing day. This morning went over to Jersey Goldsmiths. Saw Bergerac’s original Triumph Roadster, a red squirrel and a mallard with 17(!) little fluffy ducklings. In the afternoon we became acquainted with Jeremy the Jersey Cow. — Post From My iPhone

Didn’t do an awful lot! Travelled down the coast for a farmers Market which apart from an amazing bun stall was a but rubbish. Still had a nice coffee and walk along the prom. All day Friday at the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust (www.durrell.org). It is a bit like Jersey Zoo but as the name suggests their key aim is to conserve and protect endangered species. Visited Elizabeth Castle on St Helier harbour this morning. Tide up all day so had to use the amphibious ferry to cross which drives into the sea, then sails across, before driving up onto the beach by the castle.
