Gorgeous walk today around Lathkill Dale in the Peak District. Really warm day (around 25 degrees) and next to no shelter. However, heat pales into insignificance with the gorgeous surroundings and very few other people (bet the dark peak was heaving!)
One interesting part was Magpie Mine which we never knew existed, and apart from providing a shady area for dinner, was very interesting to look around (http://www.derbyshire-peakdistrict.co.uk/magpiemine.htm)
