1st August is Yorkshire Day so we had a trip up to York. We fancied going to the National Trust’s Treasurer’s House which was the first fully furnished property they acquired. History on the Treasurer’s House is here: http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/treasurershouse/. It is a real mixture of styles, and incredibly close to the Minster which one of the photographs below suggests.
We had a good wander around the town, enjoyed some lunch and had a very pleasant day!
