We hopped a couple of junctions down the M1 to visit Cannon Hall Farm; a very popular destination for families. There is a working ‘open farm’, rare breeds, falconry and events such as ferret and sheep racing. There are a number of brand new sheds for rare breeds, farrowing, milking etc and they seem to be in the process of increasing the facilities with a new play area and restaurant due to the site becoming very popular! After a wander around, we had lunch (Thomas’ first proper ‘snap’ with little sandwiches which he seemed to enjoy) and then into the farm shop.
